Three landmines and four homemade explosive devices were found and neutralized yesterday in Chechnya, said Wednesday the provisional press center of the interior ministry in Khankala, a southern suburb of Grozny. Rebels placed two landmines made of artillery shells at roadsides of busy streets in the Zavodsky and Leninsky districts of Grozny. Another remote-control landmine was found at an exit from the city of Nozhai-Yurt on the border with Dagestan. Four explosive devices were found and neutralized in the Urus-Martan, Shali, and Shatoi regions in the southeast of the republic, the press center reported.
