The body of the 6th crew member of the Russian IL-76 cargo plane, which crashed in the north of East Timor on Friday, was discovered, the UN mission in East Timor reported. The plane was carrying telecommunications equipment from China and crashed against a mountain in dense fog during landing.
The bodies of the killed Russian pilots were taken to a Thai hospital in Dili, the capital of East Timor.
East Timor's Prime Minister Mari Alkatiri supervises the investigation of the causes of the crash. A group of Australian experts arrives in Dili to assist the investigation today. Russian experts are expected to come on Sunday.
