Thirty bodies found at Tu-154 crash site in Eastern Ukraine

The Tu-154 liner was carrying 160 people – 154 adults and six children. According to preliminary information, the plane crashed when it found itself in intense turbulence zone, the chairman of the Federal Air Navigation Service of the Russian Federation Alexander Neradko told Interfax.

The wreckage of the plane was found 45 kilometers north of Donetsk. Thirty bodies have been found at the crash site, officials said. Donetsk rescuers started their operations at the site of the crash. Ukraine’s Emergency Ministry confirmed the information about the crash to Russia’s EMERCOM.

President Vladimir Putin has been informed about the tragedy with Tu-154 of Pulkovo Airlines, the press service of the Kremlin said.
