Wedding Ended Tragically in India

The young bridegroom died and the bride got terribly burnt
A Hinduism temple burnt down during wedding celebration in Shrirangam in southern India January 23. As a result of the terrible fire, at least 51 people tragically died.

Associated Press reports that the newly wedded pair suffered as well: the young bridegroom died and the bride got terribly burnt.

According to provisional data, the fire broke out because of short circuit, RIA Novosti reports. The fire started spreading from one of interior halls of the complex meant for weddings and then enveloped other halls. Guests at the ceremony rushed in panic to the only exit out of the building. Jam was formed at the staircase; many people failed to get out through the narrow doors of the temple and burnt down alive.

Rescue teams have started pulling down the debris of the temple which is totally destroyed. Rescuers fear that the number of victims may still increase.

The police are already investigating the accident.
