Murmansk counter spies exposed a NATO agent

Russian counter spies exposed a Murmansk dweller recruited by a NATO country secret service.

This information came from Murmansk region FSB chief Alexander Maluchenkov.

According to him, the exposed agent was localized even before he started his job. Counterspies convinced him not to start the way of no return, and remain faithful to his country. No more details were released.

Commenting on the results of his department work for 2003, Maluchenkov told his FSB peers initiated 5 court cases for illegal arms trades. Forty four arms were confiscated, plus 637 bullets, 1 self-made bomb and 23.6 kilos of explosives.

Maluchenkov pointed out that a file of former security chief for punishment execution office (who is accused in top secret data disclosure) was passed to court. This man used to inform the condemned people about further actions against them, and extorted money and other riches from them.
