A Crane Fell on a Dwelling House in Petersburg

In Saint Petersburg a crane fell on a nine-storey dwelling house.

As RIA Novosti was told in the press centre of the Main Department of Civil Defence and Emergencies, the incident took place in the morning in the Primorsky district of the city.

Rescuers from the State Fire Service Department have arrived at the place of the incident.

According to the preliminary data received by RIA Novosti in the press centre, a woman crane operator died as a result of the incident.

The tenants are being evacuated from the nine-storey house on which the crane fell.
