Muslim Leaders in Jordan Declare Jihad on US - 1 April, 2003

Muslim leaders in Jordan have called upon all faithful muslims to start a 'holy war' against the US. As a Rosbalt correspondent reports, muslim leaders in Jordan have said that the US has shown aggression towards a sovereign Iraqi state and for this reason the US must be 'punished in an appropriate way.'

Jihad on the US and Great Britain was announced earlier by muslim leaders in Syria and Pakistan. This morning Taliban leader Mullah Mohammed Omar also called all muslims 'to destroy all the Americans and British in the world.'
