Russian deputy, Yabloko leader Grigory Yavlinsky is inside the theatre where the terrorists hold theatergoers hostages and negotiates with the attackers. The information was provided by deputy director of the FSB Department for Public Relations Sergey Ignatchenko Thursday evening.
Yavlinsky’s press-secretary Eugeniya Dillendorf told that Yabloko leader left the Russian city of Tomsk for Moscow, where he arrived at about 10:00 p.m. The deputy immediately went to the theatre for negotiations. When still in Tomsk early in the morning, Yavlinsky had a telephone conversation with the terrorists. And the latter said they were ready for negotiations.
The Yabloko leader’s press-secretary informed with reference to a conversation with Grigory Yavlinsky that the deputy wanted to make some propositions which might take the strain off the hostage situation. There were no other comments.
