4 people were killed and 10 injured in Grozny terrorist act on Wednesday - 17 October, 2002

The terrorist act that hit the Oktyabrsky district of the Chechen capital, Grozny, on Wednesday, killed four and injured ten people, according to specified information.

The land mine exploded in Saikhanov street, when a car with Chechen policemen was passing by it, the city commandant's office told RIA Novosti. Two Chechen policemen and two military men from the field engineer department of the Oktyabrsky military commandant's office were killed and seven other military men wounded.

Students from the Grozny University, going to the university in a bus, were also hit by the explosion. One of them is in a serious condition.
