Dozens killed, balance attacks military base near Damascus

In Syria, dozens of people have died because of two bomb attacks perpetrated against Hasrata military base near Damascus, reported the opposition Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. Syria has contended since mid-March 2011, with violence perpetrated by armed groups fighting against government forces to overthrow the government of Dr. Assad.

The explosions occurred on Monday night with a range of about twenty minutes, at the local headquarters of the intelligence services of the Air Force, Rami Abdel Rahman, head of the opposition SOHR, based in London, the British capital said Tuesday.

Syria has contended since mid-March 2011, with riots following violence perpetrated by armed groups fighting against government forces to overthrow the government of Bashar al-Asad.

While the U.S. and some of its allies accuse the Syrian government of being responsible for the violence in the Arab country, Damascus rejects these allegations and responsibility, with clear evidence, the bandits, saboteurs and terrorist groups are armed perpetrators of the riots, they are being orchestrated from abroad.

A Sunni extremist group called Jabhat al-Nusra claimed responsibility for the attack on Syrian air force intelligence compound in the Damascus suburb of Harasta.

Turkey's state-run Anadolu Agency, reported that Syrian Nation Council leader Abdulbaset Sieda visited rebel-controlled areas in Syria on Tuesday.  It said he entered Syria from the Bab al-Hawa border crossing.  He met with commanders of the Free Syrian Army.

Rami Abdelrahman's 'Syrian Observatory for Human Rights' has been used by the western corporate media for its bogus reports on Syria.  The one man operation in the UK closely works with western intelligence agencies.  Aa a member of the opposition, the guy hasn't been anywhere near Syria for over 10 years.
