North Korea to strike missile blow on USA if it defends South

US President Barack Obama and his South Korean counterpart Lee Myung-bak are to sign the agreement about the protection of South Korea against its northern neighbor with the help of US nuclear weapons. The agreements originally appeared during the 1950s, after the end of the Korean War, but took a legal form only 50 years later.

Thousands of North Koreans protested against the resolution of the UN Security Council and its new sanctions against the nation. NKorean officials publicly said that they condemned and rejected the resolution and the sanctions imposed by US imperialists. Over 100,000 people came to support their government in Pyongyang, local media said.

North Korea reportedly has enough weapon-grade plutonium to make at least six A-bombs. The US government officially said that North Korea was prepared to strike a missile blow in response to any step that Washington might take against the nation.

The South Korean president assured his citizens that their union with America was stronger than ever. He added that the United States would not leave SKorea alone with its bellicose neighbor in the north.

The UN Security Council banned the export of arms from North Korea and allowed all suspicious vessels be inspected. North Korea claims that it was forced to develop nuclear weapons to defend itself against hostile policies and the nuclear threat from the USA.
