Weight watchers: Welcome to the African Mango

Weight watchers: Welcome to the African Mango. 45328.jpegWelcome for weight watchers, certainly most unwelcome for those who control the billion-dollar weight reduction industry. The African mango is the new star of the show, helping not only to reduce weight but also to reduce flab and fight cholesterol.

The diet industry is worth some 40 billion USD per year in the United States of America, so talk of a miracle cure will hardly be welcomed with open arms. However, if a nation can spend trillions on wars and weapons programmes and on bombing civilians in far-flung countries, then what respect or pity can one have for its industries?

It is time for the Pentagon to bow down and acknowledge the superiority of the wonder-fruit...

We have the pleasure to introduce the African Mango, a reddish green pulpy fruit with yellow flesh around a stone, encased in a leathery shiny skin. And what's more, it's delicious. As far as its medicinal qualities are concerned, if the studies reported are true, then it is a veritable miracle worker: it is supposed to reduce LDL cholesterol, dangerous triglycerides, to help lose up to 9 pounds (4 kg) in weight in a month...and it is cheap.

A study published in the scientific journal Lipids in Health and Disease reveals that African mango extract helped the control groups of men and women lose 3.99% more weight than those taking placebo products and also, by taking the extract half an hour before meals, burnt 2.4 inches from their waists and 1.8 inches from their hips in a month - and furthermore they reduced their levels of triglyceride, LDL cholesterol and glucose.
