George Richards: Tony Blair and mystical weapons of mass destruction

So now it comes down to our Mr Blair admitting that his mystical weapons of mass destruction may never be found. He finds it hard to admit that he lied through his teeth in his rush to war. How can the people of Britain and the establishment tolerate the lies that seem to be a habit of this  man. He reminds me of the boy who when confronted by his Grandmother, his hand in the cookie jar, will not admit that he has stolen the cookies, despite having a mouthful of cookies. Rather than admit that he lied, he will continue to defend his illegal actions. As one famous Propaganda Minister once said," if you tell a lie long enough, and big enough, it will eventual
become the truth". Perhaps, Mr Blair is hoping that in time people will accept his lies as the truth, and forget that his lies has been the cause of the death of thousands of innocent men, women, and children.
