Although Obama is wrong in having his health care plan subsidize abortions, I do think that Obama is honest in saying he wants to see less abortions in our society, but, in his mind, Obama thinks he's helping in subsidizing abortions because many of the abortions are done on pregnant teenagers who don't know responsibility.

Thankfully, the birth rate in the United States far outweighs the abortions so we still have net population growth.

Among the big problems in our nation is corporate greed. That's ultimately a spiritual problem but, at least, we can place controls and regulations in the financial system to control the greed, but, unfortunately Republicans don't want this. The rampant, self-centered, selfish, godless greed, idolatry and worship of money in the United States, which would have destroyed the economic lives of all Americans if not for government intervention, are real spiritual problems and not just abortion.

The Republicans, in their unadulterated greed and love of money, are not letting Geithner and Obama place controls and regulations in the financial markets that can prevent people's greed from ruining the market again. The Republicans are calling these controls socialism but we had these controls before at one time to keep the markets stable.

For example, there was a time when banks could not sell their mortgages to other financial institutions. This made sure that banks would lend mortgages only to those who can afford it. When this control was removed, many CEOs in some banks didn't care who could afford a mortgage because they had a slick way of dressing up these mortgages as investments and sold them to Wall Street. That's the major reason why we're in this mess.

God is being merciful because many who have abortions are ignorant of what they're actually doing and it's not done with malice towards the baby. The Bible teaches, in the Old Testament, that true murder is killing another human being with malice as the motive and intention. Of course, that doesn't make abortions okay when there's no malice.

Only true Christian spiritual revival can save our country. The United States needs to become a truly Christian nation which it never was because of slavery, racism, prejudice, segregation. In God's eyes all of that was and is murder because God equates hating (having malice) towards your fellow man as equivalent to murder. That's what Jesus said. To hate your fellow man is murder.

Pelosi has said that people are wearing Nazi swastikas in townhall meetings. This is outright racism. Why are these people bringing race into it? Because America, by and large, still has a race problem.
