Iran will assess the sincerity of the West in the forthcoming dialogue with G5 +1

The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, stressed that panic, anger and the heavy hand of the enemies of the Islamic Republic of Iran reflects the Persian country's progress growing in different fields such as science and technology.

The Supreme Leader made the remarks in a meeting Thursday with members of the Assembly of Experts, including the president of the Assembly, Ayatollah Mahdavi Kani Mohammad Reza, in the city of Tehran.

Referring to western pressures and sanctions to stop Iran's peaceful nuclear activities to cause the surrender of the Persian people, Ayatollah Khamenei stressed that the sanctions encouraged young Iranian experts using their knowledge and skills to acquire nuclear technology,

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran has emphasized that the prohibition of entry of some products is beneficial to Iran.  He  reiterated the esteem and self confidence as a consequenc generated by   sanctions against the Persian country, the same way, when the Iranian authorities decided to enrich uranium to 20 percent to provide fuel for the Tehran research reactor.

 "Putting people against the system of the Islamic Republic of Iran is the main objective of anti-Iran sanctions. Western countries have hoped that  increasing pressures would bring the Iranian people against the government. However, the massive demonstration of people on the 10th of February, which marked the 34th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran in 1979, was an act contrary to the wishes and requests of the western powers,, " said the Supreme Guide.

Regarding the last round of negotiations between Iran and G5 +1, held on the 26th and 27th of February in the Kazakh city of Almaty, Ayatollah Khamenei said that at this meeting, western countries had a special behavior that is interpreted as delivery of a claim , but acknowledged only a small part of the rights of the people of Persia.

Referring to the history of western countries to ignore dialogue and bilateral agreements, the Supreme Leader of Iran suggested assessing  the sincerity of the west and the need to wait for the next round of negotiations between Iran and the G5 +1 (U.S., UK France, Russia, China, plus Germany).

"The western countries, in addition to their economic problems, have also been involved in anti-Iranian sanctions, all this happens because they have no remedies for their problems, but Iran has resolutions to their economic problems," said Ayatollah Khamenei.

Finally, he reiterated that the elections in the Islamic Republic of Iran are the most advanced and free to the world standard, and stated that the purpose of evaluating candidates for the election is to present people with the conditions necessary and proportionate to the desire of the people.
