Rosneft to Export Oil Via Arkhangelsk Sea Port

The new process flowsheet is unique for Russia
JSC Rosneft oil company has started a new process flowsheet to export oil via the sea port of Arkhangelsk using the Belokamenka accumulator tanker. The tanker is now near the city of Murmansk, the oil company's press-service reports.

The company informs, oil will be exported from the accumulator tanker with super tankers with the deadweight of 150-250 thousand tons to Rotterdam. Shipping of two shuttle tankers of 15,000 tons each with LUKOIL oil has been done in the framework of the new process flowsheet.

The new process flowsheet is unique for Russia. The accumulator tanker will allow Rosneft to deliver crude from the company's oil fields Severnaya Neft, from Prirazlomny and Vankorsky oil fields. Thus, the oil well to tanker cycle for crude transportation is enclosed.

As was reported earlier, in 2004 Rosneft will increase sale of oil products by 14 per cent, storage and trans-shipment of oil - by 13.5 per cent, RIA Novosti reports.
