Aeroflot decides to increase dividend payments - 2 April, 2003

The board of directors of the Russian airline Aeroflot held a meeting on March 31, 2003 and decided to increase dividend payments for 2002 by almost five times, from RUR 0.06 to RUR 0.29 per share. The total volume of dividend payments will reach 320m rubles (about $10.22m), the Aeroflot press service reported. At the meeting, Aeroflot directors also chose the company's auditor for 2003 and recommended it to the annual general meeting of shareholders. The directors also considered amendments to the Aeroflot Articles of Association and some other issues.
