The Japanese Michinoku Bank reports opening a branch in Khabarovsk in Russia's Far East. On Saturday bank representatives said they are going to issue public easy-term credits for the purchase of housing, cars and other needs for long-term periods.
The Michinoku Bank from the Japanese prefecture Aomori is the first Japanese lending institution to have opened a branch in Khabarovsk 6 years ago. Chairman of the board Kosaburo Daidodzi is the first foreigner to have been elected Honorary Citizen of Khabarovsk. He won the title for rendering assistance to social aid organizations in the Khabarovsk territory and his efforts in the development of contacts between Aomori and the Far Eastern region of Russia.
