Two employees of Moroccan Embassy feared missing in Iraq

Two employees of the Moroccan Embassy in Baghdad disappeared last week after driving back from Jordan, where they had gone to pick up their pay checks, the foreign ministry said Monday.

The embassy has not heard from the men since they left Jordan on Thursday to return to Iraq, the ministry said in a statement published on the official news agency, MAP.

The pair was identified as driver Abderrahim Boualam and employee Abdelkrim el Mouhafidi.

The embassy has contacted Iraqi authorities to help track them down, the ministry said, AP reported. V.A.
