Spain will invest USD 30-50 million in Bashkirian calcium carbonate

A Bashkirian-Spanish company will be established for the production of calcium carbonate in Bashkiria, according to Rosbalt. Bashkirian President Murtaza Rakhimov and head of Spanish company S.A. Reverte Reverte Vidal agreed in principle about the new joint venture company on May 29.

Presumably the joint production will be created in the Abselilovsky region of Bashkiria on territory which claimed a large marble deposit. At the present time, the Spanish side of the company has taken a sample of rock for conducting necessary laboratory research. If results of the laboratory research are satisfactory, the company plans to install an assembly line for the decomposition of marble. The Spanish say they plan to invest from USD 30 million to USD 50 million in the project.
