Head of the Russian Security Council Vladimir Rushailo and US ambassador to Russia Alexander Vershbow discussed strategic stability and fighting international terrorism at a Kremlin meeting on Thursday.
After the meeting Rushailo stressed that the Russian and American parties shared the approach on the fight with international terrorism. During the talks they thoroughly discussed problems of combating terrorism in Central Asia, the Middle East, in the Caucasus and Transcaucasia, he pointed out.
He described the negotiations as "detailed" and said that a number of problematic issues of strategic and regional security had been on the agenda.
