Jacques Chirac completes his Russian visit

President Jacques Chirac of France completed his two-day informal talks with President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation in Sochi today, subsequently flying over to Paris. Sochi is a Russian resort on the Black Sea coast.

The President of Russia referred to his talks with the French leader as very useful, extremely frank and positive.

Both Putin and Chirac discussed a wide range of international issues and bilateral Russian-French relations, economic relations, in the first place.
