Vote Fraud Scandal In Georgian Parliament

A scandal erupted during arrangements for the election of a new speaker of Georgian parliament. Secret vote bulletins were discovered to contain numbers written with special ink appearing only under heat or strong light. It is not clear who and why had put the "secret signs" on the papers. New bulletins are being printed right in the conference hall. Member of a temporary counting commission Vakhtang Khmaladze said a fraud attempt had been revealed. The commission, he added, insists investigation into the incident be opened.
