Putin Attends Annual Military Top Brass Conference

Russian President Vladimir Putin is participating in the annual conference of the Armed Forces' commanders, held in the Defence Ministry. According to Defence Minister Sergey Ivanov, the aim of the forum is to sum up the year 2001, discuss the current issues and define the tasks for next year. He said that academic conferences, lectures and practical studies had been held for three days before the conference.
