UN experts will inspect at least another four Iraqi facilities on Monday

On Monday, the UN inspectors will search at least another four Iraqi facilities, according to the Iraqi Ministry of Information press center.

IATA experts revisited the "Al-Tuveisa" facility (20 km south of Baghdad) connected with the alleged Iraqi WMD program. At the same time, two teams of inspectors from UNMOVIC conducted the search of the "Ibn-Beitar" research center, which belongs to the Iraqi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources (10 km north of Baghdad), and the "Fellujah-3" insecticide-producing facility (100 km north-west of Baghdad).

During the "Desert Storm" operation, the "Fellujah-3" facility was almost completely destroyed.

The group of inspectors working in the town of Mosul (400 km north of Baghdad) visited on Monday the "Faida" free-zone. Contrary to other facilities, this place is being searched for the first time since the start of inspections six weeks ago.

Up till now, Baghdad has not complained about the work of the UN inspectors, calling it "professional". However, Iraqi President Saddam Hussein unexpectedly called it "spying" in his address on Monday.
