First round of Open de Moselle ends with Philipp Kohlschreiber's victory

Philipp Kohlschreiber of Germany wins over Agustin Calleri of Argentina in the first round of the Open de Moselle.

Kohlschreiber, who broke Calleri five times and did not face a break point, next plays either Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France or Stanislas Wawrinka of Switzerland.

Marc Gicquel of France also advanced, beating Florent Serra 6-4, 7-6 (0). Gicquel beat Serra in the quarterfinals last year.

Later, top-seeded Tommy Robredo was playing Florian Mayer of Germany.
