Lawsuit Against Chechen Terrorist Raduyev To Be Held At Daghestan's Supreme Court

A lawsuit against Chechen terrorist Salman Raduyev and three of his associates in the case of a bloody crusade on the Daghestani city of Kizlyar in January 1996 will begin on November 15 at the Supreme Court in Makhachkala /the Republic of Daghestan/. This was officially said to RIA Novosti at the Daghestani Ministry for National Policy, Information and External Relations. Journalists arriving to cover this process are accredited here. As of Wednesday, 54 representatives of Russian and foreign television and radio broadcasting companies and news agencies have been registered. Reports on the process will be carried by 14 newspapers, published in the languages of ethnic groups populating Daghestan, said Zagir Arukhov, Daghestani deputy minister for ethic policy, information and external relations. Special equipment for live telecasting and transmission of operative reports has been installed outside the Supreme Court building.
