Moscow Holds Memorial Day Dedicated To Journalists Perished On Duty

On Saturday, Moscow held a traditional Memory Day dedicated to journalists perished while carrying out their assignments. As usual, relatives and colleagues of the perished journalists had a traditional commemorative meeting in Moscow's House of Journalists. The tradition was initiated by the Russian Union of Journalists seven years ago. According to the Union, more than 200 journalists have perished on duty in various parts of Russia over the past decade. Sixteen of them have not come back from their assignments this year.
