Russia's gas exports announced

Gazprom increased gas exports by 11.58 percent to 102.79bn cubic meters of gas in January to August 2004 against he corresponding period in 2003, the press service of Gazprom's subsidiary Gazexport reported. Some 92.12bn cubic meters of gas were exported in 2003.

In particular, some 99.06bn cubic meters of gas were exported to countries outside the CIS in January to August 2004 against 91.41bn cubic meters last year. For instance, some 3.67bn cubic meters of gas were supplied to Austria, some 27.11bn cubic meters to Germany and some 14.64bn cubic meters to Italy.
