Vneshtorgbank and BNP Paribas sign agreement

Vneshtorgbank has received a line of credits totaling EUR300m from BNP Paribas, Vneshtorgbank President Andrey Kostin declared at the ceremony of signing a corresponding agreement. According to him, these resources will be attracted for 5 to 10 years. The interest rate has not been set yet, however, "it will not be very high", Kostin noted. The agreement is aimed at financing supplies of industrial equipment, goods and services from France and other members of the European Union to Russia.

The head of Vneshtorgbank specified that credits would be given to enterprises of the transportation, energy and food sectors.
