Russia discusses cooperation with Southeastern Europe in Croatia

Representatives of Sistema financial corporation led by Chairman of the Board Vladimir Evtushekov along with a Russian delegation are participating in an international forum entitled 'Interregional cooperation of the Russian Central Federal District with the Croatian Republic and countries of Southeastern Europe' which is taking place in Croatia on June 3-4, the Sistema press service told Rosbalt on June 3. Economic and legal conditions of cooperation between the regions of Croatia and Russia will be discussed at the forum.

The Russian delegation is led by Central District Presidential Plenipotentiary Georgy Poltavchenko. President of Khorvatia Stepan Mesich, President of Chamber of Commerce of Croatia Nadan Vidoshevich, Economics Minister of Croatia Lyubo Yurchich, Russian Agricultural Minister Alexey Gordeev, Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov, governors from the central federal district and Croatia and representatives of business circles in both countries will take part in the forum.

Sistema financial corporation owns and operates more than 200 companies in the areas of telecommunications, electronics, insurance, radio technology, real estate and construction, trade, media and finance. The corporation is valued at approximately USD 3 billion. The primary stockholder in the company is Sistema Chairman of the Board Vladimir Evtushenkov.
