Arbitration Court confirms its decision on audit results of Gazprom

The Arbitration Court of Moscow rejected the appeal filed by Riland (owner of 12m shares in Gazprom) and confirmed that the audit conclusion of PricewaterhouseCoopers on Gazprom's financial relations with Itera in 2000 was valid. Riland appealed the decision of the Arbitration Court of Moscow adopted on May 20, 2002 not to satisfy the company's suit against the invalid audit, as the company claims, made on February 21, 2001. According to Vadim Kleiner, representative of Riland, the company plans to appeal another four decisions of the Arbitration Court at the Appeals and Cassation Courts.
