Aeroflot's board of directors to elect top managers

The board of directors of Aeroflot Airlines will discuss the election of a general director and a chairman of the board of directors of the company. According to the new version of Aeroflot's Articles of Association adopted on May 25, 2002, the board of directors is to elect the general director of the company. The majority shareholder of Aeroflot is the state, which owns 51.17 percent of the company's shares.

On May 25, the annual shareholder meeting of Aeroflot adopted the new version of the Articles of Association, regulations of the board of directors, the audit commission and the procedure of holding general shareholder meeting.
