Delegation Of Supreme Prosecutor's Office Of China To Arrive In Maritime Territory

A delegation of the Supreme People's Prosecutor's Office of China is arriving in the Primorye Territory (the Russian Far East) on Friday to establish professional contacts and to develop cooperation, the press centre of the Territorial Prosecutor's Office reported. The programme of a three-day visit envisages sharing of experience with the Primorye colleagues and discussion of ways to jointly combat the Chinese criminal groupings operating on the territory of Russia and the PRC. According to the data of law-enforcement bodies, more than thirty small and large Chinese groupings are now operating on the territory of the Far-Eastern federal district. Most of them engage in racket on the district's markets of Chinese goods and control the flow of tourists from China. Last year alone, due to the joint operations of the law-enforcement bodies of Russia and the PRC, two large Chinese groupings were eliminated in Khabarovsk and Ussuriisk (the Russian Far East)
