Russian and US experts continue their contacts concerning Anti-missile Defence

Contacts between Russia and the US on the issues pertaining to anti-missile defence system continue on the level of experts, Secretary of the Security Council of Russia Vladimir Rushailo said to journalists in the Kremlin. Rushailo reminded all those present that the previous Security Council Secretary, Sergei Ivanov, met with national security adviser of the US president Condoleezza Rice, and that now the work continues on the level of experts. Rushailo did not comment on the reports by some western media about the readiness of Washington to deploy the NMD system without consultations with Russia. He stressed that "if this happens then we will discuss this question and our reaction," RIA Novosti announces.
