TNK Representatives To Enter Board Of Directors Of Slavneft

Representatives of the Tyumen oil company (TNK) will enter the Boards of Directors of several Slavneft subsidiaries, President of Slavneft Mikhail Guzeriyev declared at a press conference in Yaroslavl today. In particular, four representatives of the Tyumen oil company were registered as candidates for the Board of Directors of Slavneft-Yaroslavlnefteorgsintez and an another two - for an audit commission. A similar situation is with an aonther Slavneft subsidiary, i. e. Slavneft-Megionneftegaz. It is worth mentioning that in 2000 TNK representatives failed to enter the Board of Directors of Slavneft and its major subsidiaries. As of now, TNK holds about a 40% stake in Slavneft-Yaroslavlnefteorgsintez and about 10.06% in Slavneft-Megionneftegaz.
