Putin On a visit to the common people of Siberia

Yesterdey, Pravda.ru reported of a visit by Russia’s President Vladimir Putin to an ordinary woman resident of the Siberian city of Timbsk, to an ordinary food store, etc. Today, the President continues his popular tour. So, he came to see an ordinary peasant in the Tomsk Region. According to Ekho Moskvy radio, the hosts proudly mentioned that all what they treated Mr. Putin to, were home-made – pies, sauerkraut, and marinated cucumbers. The President is also reported to have presented the masters of the house with a tea-set and a table-cloth. The President said “yes” answering the question of whether he liked to be in Siberia.
