YUGOSLAVIA: ULTIMATUM TO UNO FORCES

In the deteriorating scenario in southern Serbia, where Albanian separatist guerillas now claim three towns to add to the other areas now hailed as a “Greater Albania”, the patience of the Serbian authorities grows thin in the face of apathy and ineffectiveness from the UNO forces. Zoran Djindic, a leading member of the DOS political grouping in Serbia, has issued a clear 20-day ultimatum to the UNO forces operating in Kosovo: “We give a maximum of 20 days to Kfor to re-establish the situation on the frontier with Kosovo. If after this there are signs of a persisting Albanian offensive, we will send in our police to intervene immediately”. This statement comes after repeated requests by the Serbian authorities for the UNO forces in Kosovo to halt the massacres by Albanian separatists in the south of Serbia (Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanovac region). Having interfered in Kosovo, NATO allowed the Albanian monster to escape from its cage, a sort of King Kong roaming freely in the Balkans but this time without a pretty girl to hold its attention. The UNO forces, trying desperately to pick up the pieces, now see the extent of the damage done by NATO : interfering with 500 years of history in one of the world’s most complex regions amounted to gross negligence to say the most… and crass stupidity, criminal malevolence or intentional interference to say the least. Whatever the case, the result is there for all to see : the Albanian octopus spreads its arms further and deeper into the Balkans. NATO started this process by interfering in the affairs of a sovereign state (Yugoslavia), threatening to use cluster bombs against Belgrade and other major cities if the Yugoslav army resisted the NATO offensive in Kosovo. NATO then proceeded to use Depleted Uranium weapons in Kosovo, making large areas radioactive, provoking a wave of fury within NATO forces stationed in the province, since soldiers are starting to die with radiation sickness symptoms. It has been stated by leading experts that thousands of civilians are expected to die of cancer as a result of NATO’s bombing. Shouldn’t the International Court at the Hague be doing something at this very moment, against the perpetrators of this evil, irresponsible and criminal deed? Maybe it should, but it isn’t…of course.
