PETER YERMILIN: NORWEGIAN MINISTRY OF DEFENCE RECOGNIZES: THE SPACE SHOT OF THE "KHAAKUNSVERN" BASE COULD BE MADE SOME DAYS AFTER THE LOSS OF "KURSK"

All suppositions, PRAVDA.Ru made previously with regard to the circumstances of the loss of the "Kursk" sub, were confirmed by the Norwegian Ministry of Defence yesterday. So, according to yesterday's statement, the photo, which we reproduced, could be made in the period from July 1999 through August 2000. Just to remind you, the Norwegian war department assured that there was nothing secret in the photo — it was made at least four years before. While doing so, the Norwegian Ministry of Defence's officials claimed that the submarine "Oslo", found in the picture, had been disposed of…

After the PRAVDA.Ru's publication, the headline of which appeared on major sites of the Internet, officers in the Ministry of Defence of Norway, which is part of the North Atlantic Alliance, were compelled to confirm the fact that the space shot of the "Kursk" murderer could be made even several days after the disaster of the Russian submarine. The official spokesman for the Norwegian Ministry of Defence, Fil' Grand Khagin, stated in an interview with the local television TV-2 company that he regretted the information, made public on behalf of his organisation before, having proved wrong. Thus, Khagin acknowledged that previously the Norwegian Ministry of Defence's official had distributed deliberately false information (which was, actually, exposed by PRAVDA.Ru in its material "SPACE PHOTO OF THE "KURSK" MURDERER IS NOT A FORGERY"). Just to remind you, in its last material on this subject PRAVDA,Ru also put forward some suppositions based on talks with our sources close to the Russian power centres. We wrote about Ilia Klebanov's interest in concealing, for career considerations, the information, which even the war department of a NATO member-country decided to disclose, at last. We hope that in the near future we will manage to learn about new developments related to these circumstances. Anyway, it turns out that a high-ranking Russian official has so far been more interested in keeping back the information about the loss of the "Kursk" sub, than the high-ranking military of the North Atlantic Alliance who, to all appearances, are involved in it. One should also point out vigorous PR actions by the Effective Policies Foundation which, as appears, has worked not for the Kremlin of late, as its head claimed at every corner, but for… the North Atlantic Alliance. One could extend congratulations to the people of Russia on these PRAVDA.Ru's discoveries confirmed by the Norwegian party yesterday. But you do not feel like it, as all this is very sad…
