A pipeline from Azerbaijan to Turkey will be carried out

A planned construction of a pipeline from Azerbaijan to Turkey will be carried out, even if other countries of the region refuse to use it, said John Wolf, US official representative to the Caspian region at an international conference in Baku today. He stressed that the initial stage of the engineering workout of the Baku-Ceyhan pipeline project would start next year as scheduled, Finmarket reports. The route Baku-Ceyhan will allow diminishing the dependence of Asian and Kazakh countries on Russia's export routes, stressed Wolf mentioning that the support of the project by the US will not end when Bill Clinton's presidential term expires.
