Today, Yugoslavia’s membership in OSCE is to be restored at a special meeting of the OSCE’s Permanent Council in Vienna. Yugoslavia was suspended from OSCE because of the war in Bosnia eight years ago. So far, the Federation of Serbia and Montenegro has stayed outside OSCE because it insisted on its being the only assignee of a Yugoslavia which fell apart in 1992, BBC reports. Yugoslavia’s new leadership has reviewed the country’s stance over the assignment.
