A murderer of a Russian frontier guard is sentenced to death in China

The Supreme Court of the Chinese province of Tzilin sentenced to death 30-year old Chen Ango, crossed the border in April 1995 and killed a Russian frontier guard, press-centre of the Prosecutor’s office of Primirsky Territory announces. It was reported by the press-centre that Chen Ango got into Russian territory with two friends to cook in taiga a Chinese delicacy – wood frogs. Russian frontier-guards noticed them. The trespassers tried escape. One of them was run down by captain Dushuk. In the clash the Chinese managed to grab the officer’s gun and killed the frontier-guard. Then the offenders returned to the Chinese territory. They were detained in six days. During the questioning Chen Ango confessed to the murder, Russian news agency “RIA Novosti” reports.
