Rebels Attack Federal APC, 7 Wounded

A federal APC belonging to the OMON special police unit was blown up by a radio-controlled bomb in Grozny, Chechnya on Tuesday. Rebels fired at the APC with machine guns after the blast. 7 servicemen were wounded in the attack, Itar-TASS reports. The policemen together with the servicemen from the commandant’s office repelled the attack, the casualties among rebels are being specified. A cleanup operation has been started in the district where the attack took place.
