Akhmadov: Chechnya and US State Department completed “gentleman’s agreement”

Chechen fighters’ emissary Ilias Akhmatov claims that his contacts with US administration are getting closer and more positive. He said it on Wednesday during a press-conference in Washington. According to Akhmadov, in the American capital he met with a representative of US State Department. But he didn’t give the name of the American diplomat and the details of their conversation, citing “gentleman’s agreement” about confidentiality. According to him, the meeting has been lasting five hours though it was informal.
