Kazakhstan will continue consultations with Russia about simultaneous joining the World Trade Organization, Kazakh Prime Minister Kasymzhomart Tokayev announced at a meeting of the government in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. He noted that the decision to joint the WTO simultaneously is connected with the fact that Russia and Kazakhstan have a common economic zone. In the opinion of the Kazakh Minister for Economy and Trade, the membership in WTO should not be achieved at any cost and benefits from joining this organization can be noticeable only some time after.
