Duma To Consider Amendments To Tax Code Today

The State Duma will approve the Russian Code on Administrative Violations today that was coordinated with President Vladimir Putin. In addition, deputies will consider amendments to the Tax Code on the third reading today. These amendments, in particular, concern reforms of the pension system and a reduction in the VAT for products of mass media services and medicines to 10 per cent. Parliamentarians will also consider a bill on a temporary ban on human cloning that was introduced by the government.
