Hurricane Lili weakens bringing oil prices down.

Reference Brent North Sea crude oil for November delivery stood at $28.28 a barrel, compared with 29.04 in midday trade.

In New York, the benchmark light sweet crude November contract lost 69 cents to trade at $29.80 per barrel.
