AvtoVAZ suggests foreign companies produce automobile parts in Russia

The AvtoVAZ carmaker suggests creating 'an industrial park' for producing automobile parts by foreign companies in Tolyatti (the Samara region), chairman of AvtoVAZ's board of directors Vladimir Kadannikov reported at the sixth annual conference 'The Strategy of the Automobile Industry in Russia and the CIS' today. The company is to be situated on the territory of the AvtoVAZ plant and to supply the majority of produced parts to it.

AvtoVAZ is currently developing a feasibility study for building the industrial park jointly with the Ferrostal company (Germany) and the Russian Automobile Parts company.
