Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday called upon the government to support the initiative of the regions for spring street cleaning. As the RIA Novosti correspondent reports, at today's conference with key members of the Cabinet in the Kremlin the head of state pointed out the high level of Subbotnik /voluntary unpaid work on days off/ on Saturday, April 21, for cleaning up the territory of Moscow in which Mayor Yury Luzhkov also took part.
