US Aviation Subjected Jalalabad To Mass Bombings

Last night and today morning the US aviation subjected Jalalabad, the administrative centre of eastern Afghan province of Nangarhar, which is still kept by the Taliban, as well as the military installations in the province of Paktia, to mass bombings, reported the state radio of Pakistan. US planes performed six air raids to the south-west and to the east of Jalalabad. Their main objective was the local airport. A channel was destroyed to the west of Jalalabad, and its water is moving to the city. The forces of the anti-Taliban coalition occupied, as a result of a short battle, the town of Zaranj, the capital of the Neemroze province on the border with Iran. According to the latest reports the Taliban left the provinces of Uruzgan and Loghar and are moving towards Kandahar.
